Project Description
Construction of a 35 meter Pondless Stream in the Aboriginal Plant Walk. The feature included a 3 x 2.5 pond with a negative edge that then flows into the reservoir/pump station.
The feature includes a main waterfall section which then passes under walkway bridges and flows on as a stream with small rapids and drop offs.
This instillation required the use of a 4 ton excavator with rock grab and a bobcat for materials logistics and it took 5 days to complete the project with 4 staff on site.
Construction impact was minimal as there is no cement used in the construction and we were required to work around mature plantings.

Rock Grab in Action. Notice the liner overlap at the level change - no need to glue liner together as long as water level is no higher than the overlap.
