These Submersible Pond and Waterfall Pumps are designed for 24 hour use and will provide the volume needed for a waterfall or stream . Remember multiple pumps can be used for extra large features or double waterfalls or creeks.

They can be mounted vertically or horizontally and fit perfectly in the Aquascape Skimmers. Two pumps can be used side by side in a Pond Skimmer with their own check valve and bulkhead fitting. They are also small enough to fit in a Micro Skimmer unit.

Choose your pump well. Its better to get a slightly over-sized pump that you can then throttle down to the flow you prefer. A pump with a bit of back pressure reduces the cavitation in a centrifugal pump that can cause vibration and deterioration of the bearings and seals.

Always check the wattage of the pump before you buy. Volume may be perfect and the price may be good but if its rated over 400watts then you need to consider ongoing power consumption. There are sump pumps out there consume over 800watts. Do your research.

For a  good flowing waterfall you will need approximately 1400 lts/hr for every 10 cm of waterfall width.
